Angraecum eburneum var. longicalcar
The Angraecum eburneum longicalcar has become extremely rare in Madagascar. When adult, this impressive plant grows between 100 to 150 in height, and develop a span of about 100 cm. The inflorescences ( up to 75 cm long!) have between 15 to 30 flowers each with a very long spur, sometimes reaching up to 40 cm in length. No other specie have such a long spur. Its nocturnal fragrance is especially unique.
